RESOLUTION 04-172
APPROVING PRE-ANNEXATION AGREEMENT
WITH MICHAEL PHILLIPS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is proposing to annex certain real estate south and west
ofthe City's southem border;AND,
WHEREAS,property owned by Michael Phillips and located at 3183 3 12th Street is part
of that proposed annexation;AND,
WHEREAS,Mr.Phillips has signed a voluntary annexation petition and pre-annexation
agreement;AND,
WHEREAS,further review by City staff and council members fmd this pre-annexation
agreement acceptable,AND,
WHEREAS,staff recommends acceptance of the three outstanding pre-annexation
agreements of which this pre-annexation is one so as to complete the entire annexation as
a 100%voluntary annexation.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of July 2004 that it hereby approves the Pre-Annexation Agreement
with Michael Phillips,
