RESOLUTION 04-190
APPROVING RECOGNITION OF THE
DALLAS COUNTY HOUSING TRUST FUND
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Dallas County has created a Housing Trust FlUId,whose mission and
purpose to to address the affordable housing needs within the county through
coordination and long term planning;including securing and allocating resources to
address the unmet housing need which may exist within the county;AND,
WHEREAS,Dallas County desires to address housing needs in cooperation and
partnership with the various municipalities located within the county;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee wishes to participate and partner with Dallas County
and other municipalities located within the county in addressing unmet housing needs
within the City of Waukee by securing a flexible source of funds to address affordable
housing needs.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 16th day of August 2004 that it hereby approves recognizing the Dallas
COlUItyHousing Trust Fund and agrees to appoint an individual to serve on the Dallas
County Housing Trust Fund Board.
