RESOLUTION 09-153
ADJUSTING THE SALARY OF THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Jeffrey L.Kooistra is serving as the City Administrator for the City of
Waukee at the will of the City Council of the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,a performance evaluation was conducted between the City Administrator and
the City Council of the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Waukee hereby determines that it desires to
provide for a salary adjustment for the City Administrator,taking into account increases in
the costs of living and other relevant factors.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that
Jeffrey L.Kooistra,in consideration of his continued employment,at will,as City
Administrator,with the City of Waukee that his annual base salary be adjusted effective
July 1,2009,be increased to $118,219.00 (2.5%)as allowed,in the discretion ofthe City
Council,pursuant to paragraph 5 of the employment contract with the City Administrator.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this,the 20,h day of
July 2009.
