RESOLUTION 09-149
APPROVING THE I-JOBS LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM
APPLICATION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council places great importance on quality of services
provided by the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to construct a new Public Works Facility that will house both
the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Department and their equipment to promote
higher efficiency of services and longer equipment life spans;AND,
WHEREAS,in order to apply for grant money for this project from the State ofIowa
under the l-Jobs Local Infrastructure Program,an official endorsement from the Waukee
City Council is required;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee agrees to be responsible for the maintenance and
operation of the facility for its intended use.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this zo?day of July 2009 that it hereby approves and endorses the I-Jobs Local
Infrastructure Program Application for the Waukee Public Works Facility.
