RESOLUTION 09-147
APPROVING,PURSUANT TO IOWA CODE §364.12(2)(a),THE TEMPORARY
CLOSING OF SE SAGEWOOD CIRCLE FROM SE WACO PLACE EAST AND
NORTH TO SE LAUREL AVENUE ON SATURDAY,AUGUST 8,2009 BETWEEN THE
HOURS OF 4:30 P.M.AND 9:30 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD
BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Brian Kelting,545 SE Sagewood Circle,requests the temporary closure of SE
Sagewood Circle from SE Waco Place east and north to SE Laurel Avenue for the purpose of a
neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,the street will be closed between the hours of 4:30 p.m.and 9:30 p.m.on Saturday,
August 8,2009;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session thiszo"day of July 2009 that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Sagewood Circle from
SE Waco Place east and north to SE Laurel Avenue on Saturday,August 8,2009 between the
hours of 4:30 p.m.and 9:30 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
