RESOLUTION 04-30
APPROVING ADDITIONAL CHANGES
TO BALANCE FYOS BUDGET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City Council of Waukee reviewed the balanced budget for FY05 on
Monday evening,January 26,2004;AND,
WHEREAS,the majority of the City Council did not approve of balancing the budget by
taking $50,000 from the General Fund Balance;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council instructed the City Administrator to ensure that the FY05
Budget was balanced excluding the transfer of $50,000 from the General Fund Balance;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City Administrator has balanced the budget without $50,000 being
transferred from the General Fund Balance by increasing expected revenue by $20,000
and decreasing expected expenditures by $30,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 2nd day of February 2004 that it hereby approves additional changes to
balance FY05 Budget with the understanding that the council would replace funds in the
areas most recently cut by the $50,000 reduction.
