RESOLUTION 04-62
APPROVING ACQUISITION OF A BACKSLOPE EASEMENT LOCATED ON
PARCEL "A",LOT 1 OF HAWTHORNE RIDGE PLAT 1 FROM STEPHEN R.
GRUBB IN THE AMOUNT OF $100
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Lee Engineers &Surveyors have determined that as a part of the
University Avenue widening project,a backslope easement is needed from Stephen R.
Grubb on land legally described as Parcel "A",Lot I of Hawthorne Ridge Plat I,AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has agreed to pay,and Stephen R.Grubb has agreed to
accept the sum of $1 00 for said backslope easement,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of March,2004 that it hereby approves the payment of $1 00 to
Stephen R.Grubb for a backslope easement located on Parcel "A",Lot I,Hawthorne
Ridge Plat I which easement is needed as a part of the construction of the University
Avenue widening project.
