RESOLUTION 04-56 1
APPROVING A SPECIAL CENSUS
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State ofIowa AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has experienced a significant population increase since
the census of2000 AND,
WHEREAS,establishing the exact population will allow Waukee to receive increased
road use funds and also be useful in attracting new development and grant funding AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,after reviewing the provided information agrees that it is in
the interests of the City of Waukee to perform a Special Census.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of March,2004 that it hereby approves of the Special Census.
