RESOLUTION 04-63
APPROVING PLANS OF PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS ON
THE URBAN ROAD SYSTEM,CITY OF WAUKEE,
PCC PAVEMENT WIDENING,STP-U-8177(604)-70-25,
UNIVERSITY AVENUE WIDENING PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee awarded the design work for the University Avenue
Widening Project to LEE Engineers &Surveyors at their regularly scheduled May 05,
2003 meeting;AND,
WHEREAS,LEE Engineers &Surveyors have completed a set of plans for the
University Avenue Widening Project with Alternates:(1)Widening and paving of Manor
Drive and (2)Construction of sidewalks along University Avenue;AND,
WHEREAS,LEE Engineers &Surveyors has requested a review of the plans and
specifications for the University Avenue Widening Proj ect;so that said plans may be
submitted to the IA Department of Transportation.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of March 2004 that it hereby approves the plans for proposed
improvements on the Urban Road System,STP-U-8177(604)-70-25,University Avenue
Widening Project and authorizes-Mark Arentsen,City Administrator,to affix his
signature to such plans to affirm the Council's approval.
