APPROVING PURCHASE OF 3,036 SQ.FT.OF SOUTHFORK PLAT 1 FROM
RUSSELL D.AND ILYEN K.WIESLEY IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,217 PLUS
$200 LEGAL COSTS OR $12,417 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING LAND
PRIOR TO WIDENING UNIVERSITY AVENUE
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Lee Engineers &Surveyors have determined that certain real estate must be
obtained by the City of Waukee as part of and prior to the widening of University
Avenue,AND,
WHEREAS,Lee Engineers &Surveyors have determined the real estate owned by
Russell D.and Ilyen K.Wiesley in the full amount of 3,036 square feet is to be purchased
by the City of Waukee for $12,217 plus $200 Abstract Title work,AND,
WHEREAS,according to the agreement signed by Russell D.and Ilyen K.Wiesleyon
the 16th day of March,2004,"final acceptance and approval of this agreement shall be
executed by the Waukee City Council within a period of 60 days from signature date of
this agreement",]
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of March,2004 that it hereby approves the purchase of3,036 sq.ft.
of Lot 5 of Southfork Plat 5,an Official Plat,from Russell D.and Ilyen K Wiesley in the
amount of $12,217 plus $200 in legal costs or $12,417 for the purpose of acquiring land
prior to widening University Avenue.
