APPROVING PURCHASE OF 1,729 SQ.Fr.OF SOUTHFORK PLAT NO.1
FROM PAUL G.ANDERSON IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,019.25 PLUS $200
LEGAL COSTS OR $6,219.25 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING LAND
PRIOR TO WIDENING UNIVERSITY AVENUE
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Lee Engineers &Surveyors have determined that certain real estate must be
obtained by the City of Waukee as part of and prior to the widening of University
Avenue,AND,
WHEREAS,Lee Engineers &Surveyors have determined the real estate owned by Paul
G.Anderson in the full amount of 1,729 square feet is to be purchased by the City of
Waukee for $6,019.25 plus $200 Abstract Title work,AND,
WHEREAS,according to the agreement signed by Paul G.Anderson on the 16th day of
March,2004,"final acceptance and approval of this agreement shall be executed by the
Waukee City Council within a period of 60 days from signature date of this agreement",
]NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of March,2004 that it hereby approves the purchase of 1,729 sq.ft.
of Lot 6 of Southfork Plat 1,an Official Plat,from Paul G.Anderson in the amount of
$6,019.25 plus $200 in legal costs or $6,219.25 for the purpose of acquiring land prior to
widening University Avenue.
