RESOLUTION 04-65
APPROVING LIONS CLUB 5-WAY STOP FOR THE RACCOON VALLEY
HUMANE SOCIETY OF DALLAS COUNTY ON SATURDAY,APRIL 17,2004
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Waukee Lions Club has requested a 5-WAY Stop at the intersection of
Warrior Lane,Ashworth Drive and Northview Drive for Saturday,April 17,2004 from
7:30 AM to 11:30 AM;AND,
WHEREAS,the 5-WAY Stop donation collection is to benefit the Raccoon Valley
Humane Society of Dallas County;AND,
WHEREAS,this collection benefits all of Dallas County including the City of Waukee;
AND,
WHEREAS,staff have reviewed the request and recommend approving it.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5th day of April 2004 that it hereby approves permitting the Waukee Lions
Club to operate a 5-WAY Stop at the intersection of Warrior Lane,Ashworth Drive and
Northview Drive for Saturday,April 17,2004 at the time requested.
