RESOLUTION 04-84
APPROVING PURCHASE AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,500.00 FOR
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS INCLUDING LANDSCAPING AND TREES FOR
$2,700 AND TEMPORARY EASEMENT FOR $1,800 FOR THE PROPERTY
LOCATED IN PARTS OF AN IRREGULAR PARCEL IN W YzSE S OF
SOUTHFORK PLAT 2,AN OFFICIAL PLAT OWNED BY STEVEN H.BRYANT
FOR THE PURPOSE OF HAULING,TRANSPORTING AND STORAGE OF
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DURING CONSTRUCTION OF THE
UNIVERSITY AVENUE WIDENING PROJECT,NO.STP-U-8177(604)-70-25
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Lee Engineers &Surveyors have determined that a temporary easement over,
under,through certain real estate must be obtained by the City of Waukee for the purpose of
hauling,transporting,and storage of materials and equipment during construction of the
University Avenue Widening Project,No.STP-U-8177(604)-70-25;AND,
WHEREAS,Lee Engineers &Surveyors have determined that a temporary easement must
be obtained from Steven H.Bryant over,through and under his property located in parts of
an irregular parcel in W 'liSE S of Southfork Plat 2,an Official Plat;AND,
WHEREAS,Lee Engineers &Surveyors have also determined that Mr.Bryant is to be
compensated for landscaping and trees and for the easement itself at a cost to the proj ect of
$4,500.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 3'd day of May 2004 that it hereby approves the temporary easement across,through and
under the property owned by Mr.Steven H.Bryant and agree to the payment for landscaping
and trees plus payment for the easement in the total amount of$4,500.00.
