RESOLUTION 04-86
APPROVING COMMISSIONER OF ELECTIONS REQUEST
TO USE THE WAUKEE LIBRARY AS THE LOCATION
FOR WAUKEE 1 VOTING PRECINCT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,in the process of creating four precincts during the state-wide reprecincting
and redistricting which occurred summer 2001,the Commissioner of Elections requested
the use of Immanuel Lutheran Church the voting location for Precinct I;AND,
WHEREAS,members of the Immanuel Lutheran Church have requested to be relieved
of this responsibility;AND,
WHEREAS,the Commissioner of Elections,Carole J.Bayeur-Dawson,has requested
use of the Waukee Public Library as the Waukee I Voting Precinct location.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 3"d day of May 2004 that it hereby approves the Commissioner of Elections
request to use the Waukee Library as the location for Waukee I Voting Precinct.
