RESOLUTION 04-111 1
APPROVING PURCHASE OF STORM WARNING SIREN TO BE LOCATED
AT CENTENNIAL PARK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,City of Waukee has adopted a policy to provide for storm warning sirens
through revenue generated by a Subdivision Plat Fee -Waming Siren Fund;AND,
WHEREAS,funds are available to purchase a ten tier warning siren with computerized
testing procedures during the last of this FY04 and the first of next FYOS;AND,
WHEREAS,the purchase and installation ofthis warning siren in Centennial Park would
benefit properties not able to hear the other sirens and would benefit the new 9th and 10th
grade school.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session tills 17th day of May,2004 that it hereby approves the purchase of storm warning
siren to be located at Centennial Park.
