TO PROVIDE FOR A NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS AND PROPOSED FORM OF CONTRACT FOR
THE SEAL COAT PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE,lOW A,AND
TAKING OF BIDS THEREOF
WHEREAS,it is necessary to advertise for sealed bids for the Project,and to fix a time and place of
Public Hearing on the proposed Plans,Specifications,form of Contract,and estimated cost for the
Project;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Waukee,Iowa,as follows:
Section 1.That on the 7th day of June,2004 at 7:00 PM.at City Hall,230 Highway 6,Waukee,
Iowa a Public Hearing will be held on the proposed Plans,Specifications,form of Contract and estimated
cost of the Project.
Section 2.That sealed bids will be received by the City of Waukee,Dallas County,Iowa at the
office of the City Clerk,at City Hall,Waukee,Iowa,until 2:00 P.M.on the I"day of June,2004,and
opened commencing at 2:00 P.M.on the same day.
Section 3.That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give Notice of the
aforementioned Public Hearing and taking of Bids by publication of such Notice in the Press Citizen
Shopper,a newspaper of general circulation in the City.)Section 4.That all provisions set out in the foregoing form of Notice are hereby recognized and
prescribed by this Council and that all Resolutions or Orders or Parts thereof,to the extent the same may
be in conflict herewith,are hereby repealed.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 17'h day of May,2004,by the Waukee City Council.
