RESOLUTION 04-117
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENTS TO THE MPO
AND TO THE MPO TTC
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,annually the City of Waukee must appoint or reappoint representatives to
the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the DM area MPO
Transportation Technical Committee (TTC);AND,
WHEREAS,the mayor ofthe City of Waukee appointed one primary representative and
one alternate representative on both the DM Area MPO and on the DM Area MPO TTC
during the January 5,2004 council meeting;AND,
WHEREAS,it has been determined within the past three months,that appointing a
second alternate to the DM MPO from the City would be beneficial;AND,
WHEREAS,the mayor has appointed Mark Arentsen as a second alternate for the DM
MPO and has appointed Chad Weaver as the alternate to the DM MPO Transportation
Technical Committee replacing the current alternate Mark Arentsen.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 7th day of June 2004 that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments as
alternates to the Metropolitan Planning Organization and to the Metropolitan Planning
Organization Transportation Technical Committee.
