RESOLUTION 04-126
APPROVING TEMPORARY SIGNALS
FOR BOONE DRIVE/UNIVERSITY AVENUE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORiTY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Becky Hoener of 14575 University Avenue,Waukee sent an email to the
City Administrator and the City Council informing them of her observation of the need to
install traffic lights at the intersection of Boone Drive and University Ave.;AND,
WHEREAS,Recommendations by Chief Larry Phillips,Mayor Oberman and council
member Jeff Mertz to install temporary traffic signals were received by the City
Administrator;AND,
WHEREAS,Larry Read,WDM Public Works Director,has indicated that WDM will
agree to pay one half ofthe cost for temporary signals.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 7'h day of June 2004 that it hereby approves the installation of temporary
signals at the intersection of Boone Drive and University Avenue.
