RESOLUTION 04-135
APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF BID FROM CUMMINS GREAT PLAINS,INC.
FOR TWO PORTABLE GENERATORS IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,456.91
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,these two portable generators are needed to service the two lift stations
located south on R-22 in case of a power outage;AND,
WHEREAS,out of the two bids received,Cummins Great Plains,Inc.submitted the
lowest bid at $35,456.91;AND,
WHEREAS,staff recommend purchasing the above two portable generators for those
times when the power outage does not continue for an extended period oftime.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 21 st day of June 2004 that it hereby approves the purchase of two portable
generators from Cummins Great Plains,Inc.in the amount of $35,456.91.
