RESOLUTION 05-24
APPROVING ONE YEAR LEASE WITH HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE
FOR OFFICE SPACE AT SUITE 234 HIGHWAY 6
AT A COST OF $11.50 PER SQUARE FOOT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has rented the office space at 234 Highway 6 to Home
Instead Senior Care for the past two years;AND,
WHEREAS,the rental agreement with Home Instead Senior Care ended at the beginning
of February 2005;AND,
WHEREAS,the negotiated rental agreement between Home Instead Senior Care and the
City of Waukee resulted in a one year extension of the rental agreement at a rate of
$11.50 per square foot or $479.17 per month;AND,
WHEREAS,staff recommends approving the rental agreement for the coming year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 14th day of February,2004 that it hereby approves a one year rental
agreement with Alice J.and Gerald L.Slye and Shari R.and Jason M.Medick d/b/a
Home Instead Senior Care.
