RESOLUTION 05-37 I
APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
AND THE CITY OF WEST DES MOINES
TO DEVELOP AND CONSTRUCT A NEW INTERCHANGE ON
PRIMARY ROAD NO.1-80;STP-U-8177(603)--70-25
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT)has initiated an agreement
with the Cities of West Des Moines and Waukee,which will provide for the orderly
completion of the project to build an 1-80 interchange at lOSth/Alice's Road;AND,
WHEREAS,this agreement identifies the PTOj ect and the requirements of the mOT
including specific,general,miscellaneous and standard provisions;AND,
WHEREAS,city staff recommends approving this agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 28th day of February 200S that it hereby approves the agreement to work
with the City of West Des Moines and with the Iowa Department of Transportation to
develop and construct a new interchange fOTPrimary Road No.1-80;Project No.STP-U-
8177(603)--70-2S.
