RESOLUTION 05-30
APPROVING THE PROPOSED FY2006 BUDGET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State ofIowa AND,
WHEREAS,the State ofIowa has set March 15 as the date cities must submit a certified
budget to their respective county auditors AND,
WHEREAS,all City departments have worked hard to create the FY2006 budget,and to
maintain the $13.50 tax rate for the Waukee citizens,for the sixth year in a row AND,
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held February 28,2005 during the regularly scheduled
council meeting to seek and to receive citizen input concerning the proposed FY2006
budget AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,after reviewing the proposed FY2006 budget and after
receiving citizen input on the FY2006 budget,fmds the FY2006 budget fiscally
responsible and responsive to the needs of the city.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City ofWaulcee City Council in
session this 28th day of February 2005 that it hereby approves the proposed FY2006
Budget.
