RESOLUTION 05-31 )
APPROVING FINAL PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR
SUGAR CREEK GOLF COURSE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORlTY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee wishes to enter into an agreement to purchase the Sugar
Creek Golf Course from Sugar Creek Golf,L.L.C.and Sugar Creek Land,L.L.C.for the
amount of 1.8 million dollars;AND,
WHEREAS,discussions and negotiations among attorneys,city staff and Jerry and
Karen Armstrong have resulted in the attached agreement as prepared by City Attorney
Paul Huscher;AND,
WHEREAS,city staffrecommend approval ofthis purchase agreement,which is to be
finalized by Jerry D.and Karen Armstrong,sellers and the City of Waukee,buyers on the
4th day of March,2005.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 28th day of February 2005 that it hereby approves the final purchase
agreement for Sugar Creek Golf Course.]
