RESOLUTION 05-42
APPROVING RULES AND PROCEDURE FOR CITY OF WAUKEE
AD HOC AND ADVISORY COMMITTEES AUTHORIZED AND
APPOINTED NOW AND IN THE FUTURE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Council deemed it appropriate to establish rules and procedure for Ad
Hoc OT Advisory Committees authorized by the Mayor to assist the Council and Staff;
AND,
WHEREAS,the rules and procedure are meant to establish a standardized method for
conducting the business of the Committee;AND,
WHEREAS,all business of the Committee will be held subject to the requirements of
the State ofIowa open meetings and open records law;AND,
WHEREAS,the rules and procedure are also meant to ensure that all council and staff
are provided information concerning the agendas,minutes and meeting packets;so that
all Council members and Mayor are adequately apprised of new knowledge and unique
perspectives on the issues under discussion in the various ad hoc or advisory Committees.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 14th day of March 2005 that it hereby approves rules and procedure for City
of Waukee Ad Hoc and Advisory Committees authorized now and in the future.
