RESOLUTION 05-44
APPROVING PURCHASE OF A 1996 INTERNATIONAL NA VIS TAR
4700 SERIES DUMP TRUCK FROM IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,500
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department vehicle replacement calls for the purchase of a new
truck every other year and the purchase of a used huck every off year;AND,
WHEREAS,the last two trucks purchased by the City of Waukee from a dealership were trade-
ins from the City of Clive;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Clive has agreed to sell to the City of Waukee a 1966 International
Navistar 4700 series dump truck as described below and with the additional equipment as
described below:

WHEREAS,purchasing the 1996 International Navistar 4700 Series from the City of Clive for
$23,500 is a reasonable price to pay for a used dump truck ofthis quality.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
14th day of March 2005 that it hereby approves the purchase of a 1996 International Navistar
4700 Series dump truck from the City of Clive in the amount of $23,500.
