RESOLUTION 05-56 1
APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR GRANT PARK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State oflowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Orgamzation;~,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Preliminary
Plat for Grant Park on March 22,2005;AND,
WHEREAS,the City has an approved development agreement between the City of Waukee and
Kurt E.Brewer,the developer,for the parkland dedication and paving improvements for L.A.
Grant Parkway and 3l2'h Place;AND,
WHEREAS,Wally Pelds from A.Leo Pelds Engineering Co.has provided copies of the signed
certified mail receipts for letters sent regarding storm water drainage to property owners to the
south of the plat,AND,
1WHEREAS,312th Place must be paved before the land to the east of Grant Park will be allowed
to develop,and the outlet pipe to the south will be addressed at the construction plan phase;
AND,
WHEREAS,the Preliminary Plat for Grant Park is in general conformance with section §303 -
Land Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code;and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
that the Preliminary Plat for Grant Park be approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 4th day of April 2005.
