APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A 2005 JACOBSON LS-3407 FAIRWAY
MOWER FROM DAVIS SUN TURF FOR THE SUGER CREEK MUNICIPAL
GOLF COURSE IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,199.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City purchased the Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course on March 4,
2005;AND,
WHEREAS,the purchase of the golf course included all of the equipment and the
existing fairway mower is in poor condition;AND,
WHEREAS,Davis Sun Turf gave the City a quote of$31,199.00 of which the City will
put a down payment of$7,049.00 and the remaining $24,150.00 will be the loan amount
with Charter Bank over 4 years at a 4.25%fixed interest rate;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Waukee,
Iowa that the purchase of a 2005 Jacobson LS-3407 Fairway Mower from Davis Sun Turf
for the Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course in the amount of$31,199.00 be approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 11th day of
April 2005.
