RESOLUTION 05-70
APPROVING THE AGREEMENT WITH THE DES MOINES MENACE
SOCCER ORGANIZATION FOR THE USE OF THE CENTENNIAL PARK
FACILITIES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Des Moines Menace Soccer Organization approached the City of
Waukee for the use of Centennial Park to include a VIP tent for which there will be beer
sold;AND,
WHEREAS,the Park Board reviewed the agreement at the April 21,2005 meeting and
unanimously approved the agreement;AND,
WHEREAS,the Menace will provide the City with adequate liability,property damage
and medical insurance coverage in an amount determined by Insurance Associates,the
City's insurance provider;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa that the agreement with the Des Moines Menace Soccer Organization for the use of
the Centennial Park Facilities be approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 26th day of
Apri12005.
