RESOLUTION 04-203
APPROVING PAYMENT OF RETAINAGE TO THE UNDERGROUND CO.FOR R-22
SANITARY SEWER,CONTRACT 2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,738.62
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORlTY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,lOW A
WHEREAS,The Underground Co.submitted the low bid for R-22 Sanitary Sewer,Contract 2
in the amount of$289,139.80 and was awarded the contract on June 2,2003;AND,
WHEREAS,the Final Partial Payment Estimate (No.5)was approved for payment during the
June 21,2004 counci1meeting;AND,
WHEREAS,Brad Freeman,has reviewed the work and in his letter dated 06-16-04 approved
the Certificate of Completion and indicated the work had been completed in general
conformance with the standard specifications of the City;AND,
WHEREAS,all paperwork has been completed and payment of the retainage to The
Underground Company is approved by Staff.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
13til day of September 2004 that it hereby approves payment of retainage to The Underground
Co.in the amount of$14,738.62.
