RESOLUTION 04-234
APPROVING CONLIN PROPERTIES'APPLICATION FOR TAX CREDIT FOR LOT 5
WINDFIELD MULTI-FAMILY PLAT 2
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,has been informed by James C.Conlin that a Low-
Income Housing Tax Credit Application will be filed with the Iowa Finance Authority for the
development of affordable rental housing to be located at 125 SE Windfield Pkwy,Waukee,
Iowa with a legal description as follows:
Lot 5 Windfield Multi-Family Plat 2 an Official Plat in
Waukee,Dallas County,Iowa;AND,
WHEREAS,this housing project will contain 24 units;AND,
WHEREAS,the units will be targeted to families;AND,
WHEREAS,the project will be a new construction.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council that we support
and approve the development of the aforesaid housing in our community,subject to city
ordinances and the building permit process.This resolution is effective until 05-31-05.In the
event that any ofthe characteristics mentioned above should change prior to the issuance of a
building permit,this resolution is null and void.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City's support for this project is contingent on Mr.
Conlin's acknowledgement of his responsibility for constructing the remaining curb and gutter
and street paving needed for a 31 foot back to back cross section along the section of Warrior
Lane adjacent to the Windfield West Apartment complex.
