RESOLUTION 04-267
APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF ISAIAH MCGEE TO THE LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO FILL A VACANCY CREATED BY THE CHANGE
IN RESIDENCY OF BOARD MEMBER CHRIS BERRY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Board member Chris Berry and her family are moving to a new home in
Urbandale,Iowa;AND,
WHEREAS,Isaiah McGee has volnnteered to serve the remainder Ms.Berry's tenn on
the Library Board of Trustees,which ends June 30,2005;AND,
WHEREAS,per §206.4(B)of the Waukee Municipal Code,the Library Board of
Trustees is now requesting the Mayor appoint by this resolution and the City Conncil
approve the appointment ofIsaiah McGee to serve as a Trustee on the Library Board of
Trustees until June 30,2005.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 20th day of December 2004 that it hereby approves the appointment ofIsaiah
McGee to the Library Board of Trustees to fiII the unexpired term of board member Chris
Berry who has moved from the community.1
