RESOLUTION 04-268
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENTS TO THE MPO
AND TO THE MPO TTC FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2005
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,annually the City of Waukee must appoint or reappoint representatives to
the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the DM area MPO
Transportation Technical Connnittee (TTC);AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has one primary representative and two alternate
representatives to the DM Area MPO and one primary representative and one alternate
representative to the DM Area MPO TTC;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor Tony Oberman has for the calendar year 2005 appointed Bill Peard
to be the primary representative to the DM Area MPO and has appointed himself to be
the frrst alternate representative to the DM Area MPO and has appointed Mark Arentsen
to be the second alternate representative to the DM Area MPO;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor Tony Oberman has for the calendar year 2005 reappointed Jody
Todd Gunderson to be the primary representative to the DM Area MPO TTC and has
reappointed Chad Weaver to be the alternate representative to the DM Area MPO TTC.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 20th day of December 2004 that it hereby approves the Mayor's
appointments to the Metropolitan Planning Organization and to the Metropolitan
Planning Organization Transportation Technical Committee.
