RESOLUTION 08-54
APPROVING THE JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF STORMWATER
TECHNICIAN,APPROVING THE SALARY RANGE FOR SAID POSITION,AND
DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF FILLING SAID POSITION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff foresee a need for a Stormwater Technician,a position to be responsible
for the City's sidewalk replacement/repair/installation program,assisting in stonnwater
inspections,and assisting the Code Compliance Department with building inspections;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommend the position begin March 31,2008 with a Skilled Trades job
classification and salary range;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has reviewed the job description and salary range
recommendation for the position of Stormwater Technician and finds them appropriate;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this io"day of March 2008 that it hereby approves the job description and salary range for the
position of Stormwater Technician;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council directs City staff to begin the process of
filling the position of Stormwater Technician.
