RESOLUTION 08-74
APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE WARRANTY DEEDS AND EASEMENTS
ASSOCIATED WITH N.6TH STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN COORDINATION WITH
THE SHOTTENKIRK WAUKEE PLAT 1 DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,construction plans have been submitted to the City for Shottenkirk Waukee Plat 1
which include improvements to N.6th Street;AND,
WHEREAS,a portion of those improvements along N.6'h Street fall within portions of
property owned by The Northway Corporation and The Estate of Martin L.Olson and Dennis R.
Olson;AND,
WHEREAS,The Northway Corporation has provided a warranty deed for street right of way,a
roadway easement and a surface water flowage and detention easement for tbe associated
improvements to N.6th Street;AND,
WHEREAS,the Estate of Martin L.Olson and Dennis Olson have provided a warranty deed for
street right of way and a sanitary sewer easement for associated improvements to N.6th Street.1
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
that the warranty deeds (2),roadway easement,surface water flowage and storm sewer easement
and sanitary sewer easement be approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City ofWaulcee,Iowa and approved the 7th day of April 2008.
