RESOLUTION 08-77
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A JOHN DEERE 1600 WIDE AREA
MOWER FROM VAN WALL EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,463.00
IN THE NAlYfE AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,after receiving quotes from two companies,the City of Waukee Public
Works Department recommends the purchase ofa John Deere 1600 Wide Area Mower
from Van Wall Equipment in the amount of $23,463.00,including trade-in;AND,
WHEREAS,said mower is scheduled to replace an existing 2004 model wide area
mower as part of the Public Works Department vehicle replacement program;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 21 st day of April 2008 that it hereby approves the purchase of a John Deere
1600 Wide Area Mowerfrom Van Wall Equipment in the amount of $23,463.00.
