RESOLUTION 08-80
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN J &M DISPLAYS AND THE CITY OF
WAUKEE FOR JULY 4,2008 FIREWORKS DISPLAY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee 4[h of July celebration has traditionally included a fireworks
display at Centennial Park;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain the services of J &M Displays,Yarmouth,Iowa,to
provide the fireworks display for this event;
WHEREAS,the City has contracted with J &M Displays in recent years for fireworks displays
and has been satisfied with the quality of work provided by said company,and City staff
recommend approval of an Agreement with said company for July 4,2008,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee on this
21"day of April 2008 that the Agreement between J &M Displays and the City of Waukee for
July 4,2008 Fireworks Display is hereby approved,
