1APPROVINGRETAININGVEENSTRA&KIMM,INC.FOR PROFESSIONAL
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE FOX CREEK OUTFALL SEWER PROJECT
iN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,lOW A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City is considering construction of an outfall sewer along Fox Creek and a
connecting sewer to the Sugar Creek trunk sewer;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to proceed with the design and preparation of tbe plans and
specifications;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.to provide engineering design and
construction services on the Project,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session thiss'"day of May,2008,that the City does hereby retains and employs Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.to
act for and represent it in engineering matters in the Fox Creek Outfall Sewer Project is hereby 1
approved.
