RESOLUTION 08-91
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE BOARD OF THE GREATER DALLAS COUNTY
DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a member of the Greater Dallas County Development
Alliance,an organization that functions primarily to promote economic development
throughout Dallas County;AND,
WHEREAS,Director of Community Development J ody T.Gunderson is the current City of
Waukee representative to the Board of the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance;
AND,
WHEREAS,as of May 3,2008,MI.Gunderson is no longer an employee of the City of
Waukee,making it necessary for the Mayor to reappoint a representative to the GDCDA
board;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard has appointed Jeff Ostrander as the City of Waukee
representative to the Board of the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 5th day of May 2008,that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointment ofthe City of
Waukee representative to the Board of the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance.
