RESOLUTION 08-84
APPROVING DALLAS COUNTY NEWS OR DES MOINES REGISTER AS THE
OFFICIAL PUBLICATIONS FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE FOR THE YEAR
2008
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is required to name an official publication for the
purpose of publication of official notices and other required publications;AND,
WHEREAS,such publication should be available to the general public and have regular
circulation in the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,history of usage,general public expectations and publication deadlines
support the appointment of either the Dallas County News or Des Moines Register as the
City's official publications.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5th day of May,2008,that it hereby approves the appointment of the Dallas
County News or the Des Moines Register as the official publications for the City of
Waukee.
