Accepting the quote for 2008 Sidewalk Program
WHEREAS,construction quotes were received by the City Clerk of Waukee,
Iowa and reported to this Council for the 2008 Sidewalk Program (the "Project");and
WHEREAS,the quotes were to address the installation of either 4 and/or 6 inch
PCC paving,including ramps with truncated domes and curb cuts for new installations in
2008 Zone,as well as the repair/replacement of sidewalk panels,including ramp panels
with truncated domes,throughout the City as determined by the Public Works
Department;and
WHEREAS,all of the said quotes have been carefully considered,and it IS
advisable that provision be made for the acceptance of the quote for the Project;
NOW,THEREFORE,IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Waukee,Iowa,as follows:
Section I.The quote for the Project submitted by the following contractor is
fully responsive to the plans and specifications for the Project,heretofore approved by the
Council,and is in the best interest of the City,such quote being as follows:

Section 2.The accepted quote must be valid through April 2009.
Section 3.

Approval is contingent upon verification of quote by the City of
Section 4.All resolutions or parts of resolutions 111 conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
