APPROVING,PURSUANT TO IOWA CODE §364.12(2)(a),FOR THE TEMPORARY
CLOSING OF WALNUT ST.FROM 6TH ST.EAST TO ASHWORTH DR.ON
THURSDAY,MAY 8,2008 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5:00 P,M.AND 7:00 P,M.FOR

IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,lOW A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Daugherty Auctioneers of Adel wishes to conduct an auction of the contents of the
building at 520 Walnut St.,also known as Olson Bros.Sinclair;AND,
WHEREAS,Daugherty Auctioneers has requested that Walnut St.be closed between the hours
of 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Thursday,May 8,2008 for the auction;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
5'h day of May 2008 that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Walnut St.from 6th St.east
to Ashworth Dr.on Thursday,May 8,2008 between the hours of 5:00 p.111.and 7:00 p.m.itit&t
