RESOLUTION 08-110
APPROVING REVISIONS TO THE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK REGARDING
CONTACT WITH THE MEDIA AND OTHER THIRD PARTIES,EMPLOYEE'S
PERSONAL LIFE,AND THE REMOVAL OF THE SECTION ON DISCIPLINARY
ACTION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney has advised that certain revisions be made to the Employee
Handbook;AND,
WHEREAS,said revisions affect Section #532 -Contact with the Media and Other Third
Parties and Section #537 -Employee's Personal Life,and include the removal of Sections #550-
551-Disciplinary Action;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Administrator/Clerk recommends approval of the revisions proposed by
the City Attomey.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 19th of May,2008,that the revisions to the Employee Handbook regarding Contact with
the Media and Other Third Parties,Employee's Personal Life,and the removal of the section on
Disciplinary Action be approved.
