RESOLUTION 09-146
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES BY AND
BETWEEN CIVIL DESIGN ADVANTAGE AND THE CITY OF WAillillE RELATED
TO THE NE DOUGLAS PARKWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain the services of Civil Design Advantage to perform the
engineering and design services for the NE Douglas Parkway Improvement Project (the
"Project");AND,
WHEREAS,the scope of the Project includes the topographic survey verification,construction
drawings,acquisition plat and easement preparation and construction administration for the
proposed construction of the Project;AND,
WHEREA,the fee for the planning,design and construction services for the Proj ect shall be a
maximum not to exceed the amount of $33,550.00;AND,
\VHEREAS,the Agreement for Engineering Services is subject to review and final approval by
the Waukee City Attorney.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Engineering Services by and between Civil Design Advantage and the City of
Waukee related to the NE Douglas Parkway Improvement Project is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved tbe s"day of July 2009.
