RESOLUTION 09-187
A RESOLUTION AWARDING QUOTATION CONCERNING IRRIGATION
INSTALLATION IN CENTENNIAL PARK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City seeks to install irrigation on and around three baseball diamonds located in
Centennial Park in the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,the estimated total cost of the project does not exceed the competitive bid threshold
established in Chapter 26 of the Iowa Code (2009);AND,
WHEREAS,the City made a good faith effort to obtain quotations for the work from at least two
contractors regularly engaged in such work and received three quotations;AND,
WHEREAS,of the three quotations received the lowest responsive quotation was received from
Bailey Irrigation Inc.in the amount of$20,463.97 as reflected in the material presented to Council.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOL YED on this the 21"day of September 2009 by the City Council of the
City of Waukee that quotation submitted by Bailey Irrigation Inc.attached hereto should be accepted
and receive the contract award.
