RESOLUTION 09-192
APPROVING A CONTRIBUTION UP TO $2,500.00 TO THE WAUKEE PUBLIC
LIBRARY FOUNDATION FOR THE BIG READ PROGRAM
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Public Library Foundation requests a contribution from the
City in the amount of $2,500.00 to help cover costs associated with The Big Read
program;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommends the funds be allocated from the FY20 I0
Administration,Promotions budget.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 21 st day of September 2009 that it hereby approves a contribution up to
$2,500.00 to the Waukee Public Library Foundation for The Big Read program.
