RESOLUTION 09-210
APPROVING THE REPLACEMENT OF TWO (2)PICK-UP V-BLADE
MOUNTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PLOWING SNOW AT A COST OF $4,905.00
EACH FOR A TOTAL OF $9,810.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase of
two (2)pick-up truck v-blade mounts from Truck Equipment Inc.at a cost of $4,905.00
each,for a total of$9.81O.00;AND,
WHEREAS,said equipment is intended to replace current snow plow mounts that were
traded in with certain pick-up trucks as part of the Public Works Department vehicle
replacement program;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of October 2009 that it hereby approves the purchase of two (2)
pick-up truck v-blade mounts from Truck Equipment Inc.at a cost of $4,905.00 each,for
a total of$9.8l0.00.
