RESOLUTION 09-207
AUTHORIZING WAUKEE UTILITY ACCOUNT SPECIALIST TO CERTIFY TO THE
POLK COUNTY TREASURER FOR COLLECTION OF CERTAIN UNPAID UTILITY
SERVICE FEES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa has established Water,Sewer,
Garbage and Storm Water Rate Ordinances pursuant to which the City of Waukee operates and
provides said services within and near the City limits;AND,
WHEREAS,the following property owner has not paid charges for utility services provided by
the City.Such service charges have been sent to said property owner and such charges have not
been paid as of the I st day of October,2009,as described in Exhibit A attached hereto,reference
Bond #1-2009.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WAUKEE,IOWA:
That the Utility Account Specialist is hereby directed to certify said charges to the Polk
County Treasurer and have such charges assessed against the real estate property listed,
which charges are to be collected and returned in the same manner as other taxes.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 19th day of October,2009
