RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS,on the 15th day of October,2007,the Mayor and Clerk of Waukee,
Iowa,entered into a construction contract with Nuckolls Concrete Services,Inc.,of Des
Moines,Iowa,for the construction of certain public improvements generally described as
University Avenue Reconstruction,Alice's Road to L.A.Grant Parkway;and
WHEREAS,the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public
improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications,as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on
September 4,2009:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WAUIZEE,IOWA:
Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted,and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been
fully completed in accordance with the plans,specifications and fonn of contract and the
total final construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $3,073,303.3 I,as shown
in the report of the Engineer.
