RESOLUTION 09-236
APPROVAL OF AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE PARKS,RECREATION
AND OPEN SPACE MASTER PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on November 12,2009,the Waukee Parks and Recreation Board reviewed a
proposal submitted to and recommended by City staff to draft a Parks,Recreation and Open
Space Master Plan;AND,
WHEREAS,the Park and Recreation Board recommends the contract submitted by Genus
Landscape Architects be accepted;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney has reviewed the proposed contract and finds it satisfactory.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 16th day of November 2009 that the contract submitted by Genus Landscape Architects to
draft a City of Waukee Parks,Recreation and Open Space Master Plan,is hereby accepted
and approved.
