RESOLUTION 08-142
APPROVING ADDENDUM "A"TO THE 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF WAUKEE AND THE WEST DES MOINES WATER WORKS BOARD OF
TRUSTEES FOR METER READING
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee and West Des Moines Water Works Board of Trustees entered
into an agreement for meter reading on October 3,2005 for an initial period of three (3)years.
Section 2,Paragraph C,of the agreement sets forth procedures for establishing rates for
subsequent three (3)year periods;AND,
WHEREAS,it is agreed that the service cost shall be $0.80 per meter reading during the first
year of this addendum and shall be increased to $0.85 for the second year of this addendum and
$0.95 during the third year of this addendum;AND,
WHEREAS,the addendum extends the original agreement for an additional three (3)year
period and shall become effective November 1,2008;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
16th day of June,2008,that the Addendum "A"to the 28E Agreement between the City of
Waukee and the West Des Moines Water Works Board of Trustees for Meter Reading is hereby
approved.
